Quick Start

Registration Flow

The platform supports two registration methods:

Invite-Only Flow (No Approval Required)

1. Receive Invitation: Administrator sends you an invitation email with a secure link
2. Accept Invitation: Click the link and set your username and password
3. Account Ready: Your account is automatically approved and ready to use
4. Login: Access the platform with your credentials

Public Registration Flow (Requires Approval)

1. Registration: Create an account with username, email, and password
2. Wait for Approval: Your account is pending administrator approval
3. Approval Notification: You'll receive an email when your account is approved
4. Login: Access the platform with your credentials

Using the Platform

1. Upload or record: Upload audio/video or use Record in Browser for progressive, resumable capture (see Features)
2. Process: Wait for transcription to complete (real-time updates shown). Optional speaker diarization depends on your deployment.
3. Edit: Use the editor with synchronized video, Supervision comments, and optional Analytics (see Features)
4. Export: Download transcriptions as VTT subtitle files (in ZIP archives)
5. Translate: Optionally translate transcriptions using your instance’s translation service
6. Share: Grant permissions to other users via ACL settings
7. Manage: Set automatic deletion schedules for your transcriptions
8. Help: From the home screen, open Documentation for this site (URL is configured by your operator)
